I live in the upper peninsula of Michigan and spend 60-70% of my time on the road driving up hill / mountain sides. I have read and browsed the forums and it is all so many mixed reviews.

I have a 2010 jeep liberty sport.
Use regular penzoil and filter
Have 71,000 miles on it now. I am going to switch to a synthetic.

0 mods all cosmetics -
Vent shades (I smoke & love them)
Tints (matched to back)
Sylvania ultra bright bulbs
16x8.5 wheel 255/70
Bug deflector that hasn't deflected much

Here's what I want to do and my biggest questions. Also how she sits now, kind of wished I researched more as I went with 16x8.5 wheels.ImageImageImageImage

These are the tires I made my mind on for sure. Image
TBS worth it? I read mixed reviews so if you own one chime in!Image
The intake I am going to get. Image
The exhaust that I like for the price.Image

Then denzo wires & plugs? I want to make sure I get the most efficient plugs I can. Once all of this is done a jet stage 2 chip is going in and I'm going to burn midgrade.

Main goal would be a smoother power band. A bit more torque and if possible a couple extra mpgs. Sorry for asking so much at once. I have been buried up to my eyes in forums and everyone on other jeep forums side 50/50.

I responded on JF(I should probably start checking here first, I like Lost more lol).

viewtopic.php?f=88&t=79781
That's the topic with the 4.7 throttle body that I was talking about though.

You'll probably get similar, if not the same answers here. Most guys frequent both forums.

Thanks man! Ya I was reading on multiple forums and it seemed half the people were angry because literally nothing good came of the mod. The other half maybe having a Placebo effect.

I saw on JeepKJ that you're dropping the exhaust and intake. If you want to change the exhaust for sound, go buy a muffler(might free up a little for the hyper tech). Our exhaust system is already pretty top notch. The only thing a cat-back system would change is really just the muffler. If I remember correctly we need 2.5" center in, offset out.

TB spacers do nothing for an injected engine.
Bmxer524 is correct the exhaust system on the KK, it is mandrel bent 2.5" pipe. Just add a different free flowing muffler, Center in / offset out, and some pipe to make up the difference in muffler size. You can leave the resonator on, or take it off. It is not restrictive.
Personally I don't like the "CAI" systems which suck air from under the hood. They are less restrictive, but suck in heated air. Also metal pipes absorb more heat then plastic pipes do. The only true "Cold air" intake is Volant. It gets the air from the grill and wheel well. But they do cost a pretty penny...
The stock intake is pretty free flowing from the get go, so you could just use a drop in free flowing air filter in the stock box. The only real restriction is from the air box to the grill.

Does volant make a cai system for us? I couldn't find anything unless the nitro/KJ systems work for a KK(I'm assuming the nitro will, but didn't see 1 for the 3.7).

Save your cash and forget the K&N. Sucks hot air, oil mist and fine dust.
Any "true" CAI, that pulls air from under the bumper, will leave you more vulnerable to water ingestion. The factory air intake is already a cold air intake with great filtering and reasonable water fording protection. It can flow all the air the engine can handle.

The throttle body spacers can do something but you have to do a before and after dyno check to see if it does on this engine. My suspicion is that you wont notice it.
On some applications, the slight increase in the volume of the plenum will broaden the peak torque curve by altering the momentum of the intake pulses.

As was said about the exhaust, our factory system is not too bad. I would do a muffler delete and leave the resonator on. You'll save another $500 bones.

Google "volant 166376"
Or go here and search "volant 166376" http://www.volant-intakes.com, $269.87 and looks like free shipping. This is for the Nitro. I know the grill area is a little different then the KK, so it may not fit...
But wait, Look what I found.

Awesome! Thanks for the links! I've been considering some performance mods(mostly because I'm thinking about the 4.7 throttle body). I'm gonna let that run it's course on the older KKs before jumping into it with mine. I want to make sure there's no downsides first.

You might want to Pop your throttle body off and measure your plenum inlet. The later models like my 2012 are smaller and won't accept the 4.7 TB. The inlet is the same 2.5" size as the TB.

Hypertech eco
4.7 TB (off an 08 Cherokee)
*NGK V-Power plugs*???? Current plugs have 70k
Dynapro's 255/70/r16x8.5" (stock ride height still) already have wheels

Thanks all. I read all about our exhausts and how well the stock design really was after some of you posted. I'm so used to the mod this and that mind set but it was for previous sport / sport/luxury cars. I'm going to leave my stock intake in. My biggest thing I'm lost on are what plugs burn fuel most efficient? Then I need a hitch tow hooks and skid plates. The place up here gave me an insane quote. Have to shop around.

Regular old cheap copper plugs like Champion or NGK, nothing fancy

I can't find a throttle body off a 2008 4.7L V8.... Anyone know where I can find one new? Its for the hypertech / throttle body (hopefully better mpg) mod.

I also just started getting a small squeak =( don't know if its from all the moisture after days of rain that isn't stopping, serpentine belt, alternator decoupler , pulleys... Guess it could be timing belt as well. darn it! I just had my water pump replaced as well as some seals in my diff.

Just pretend you have a 2008 Grand Cherokee with the 4.7.
Or
DirtyKK is selling one for $100: http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=80290
Or
Brand new, you could try some of the online Mopar parts websites (there are several of these sites if you google).
