Hey everyone,
Just wondering how the arms from Jeepin Al are working for everyone. I am debating ordering a set and getting the moog ball joints now before I order a Frankenlift. I am just trying to weigh the cost-benefit ration a little bit. I would love to hear some feedback.

Thanks Danielle

I don't think you'll hear any negatives.

All of the sets I have seen are working great (including mine).

The arms are great. I have snapped the welds holding the bushing sleeve in place, but that was doing some harder lines at MOAB, just remember even the best stuff can be pushed to its limits... The arms still work, only difference is some squeeking and popping while articulating and going from forward to reverse because the old welds are touching on each side as it moves. The arms are going no where as it is pinched into the body. My alignment is better than factory now with the arms. And the joint is greasable!!! Go for it. You will not regret it, especially with how easy they are to install!

Cant your wheel just fall off if the welds are not good? The stock arms are one piece, no welds. Thats the only thing that would worry me, the best welder may mess up one time and kill someone.

I had to do some body triming below where the arms bolt to the body so they would not bottom out over bumps. Othere than that everything is good.

the place that broke the welds is only there to hold the bushing sleeve, they are not to hold the arm on. the arm is locked in place with the bushing by the nature of how and where it mounts in the body.

I'm happy with mine. They did great in Moab, even on the tough trails.

The only thing I've noticed is that my tires rub on them a bit. No big deal, though. The only reason I noticed is that I saw the shiny spot. (I have 31" MTR's with the '02 limited wheels).

I WOULD LIKE TO SEE BETTER PICS OF ALS ARMS BEFORE I WOULD BUY THEM. PROBABLY THE BEST WAY TO GO IF YOU ARE GOING TO LIFT.
I HAVE DECIDED ON SKYJACKER 2.5 COIL LIFT WITH ALS ARMS AND MOOG BALL JOINTS UPPER AND LOWER.

I don't think you'll need new uppers, as Al's arms include greaseable ball joints.

Anyone correct me if I'm wrong though.

Al's uppers do come with greasable ball joints.
