Last Wednesday my KK ate another Ford. This time it won't buff out. Time for a steel bumper and also time to sell the Detours Backbone winch mount. After I take it off of course. Anyone interested?
I had some difficulty posting them to photobucket from my phone, it might be awhile till I post pics but it wasn't bad.

Just build one like mine (/AtTheHelm's)! Finally got the rest of my guard welded on so now it's just a straight BAD@$$! A lot of credit to ATH though, I emailed him for over month asking questions haha.

Pic? I ordered one from atthehelm

Here's a pic for you Ted haha.

Yes there's something at auto zone you can put on the terminals. My XJ had it and it seemed to work pretty well. I don't know the name of it.

I've always heard Vasoline works on batterys.

Not too bad. City or highway? How many miles per tank?
I'm trying to figure out if the gas stations switched blends for the colder weather yet.
They do that hear, not sure about where you're located.

in CT they switched over. It sucks lol. I'm still waiting to see if i have any improvements from the 4.7 l throttle body. It seems really bad right now but it is only the first tank since the install

Mixed driving, I didn't use all of the tank but I got it pretty close. It was something like 273ish miles and used 16 gallons. Lately I've been using my trip mileage to record miles and every time I get gas I'll punch in the miles driven and how many gallons it took to fill up to get an average

Edit: I'm from Texas so I doubt we change blends.

It's nearly December and we're still in the high 70's

That's a good habit to get into. I use trip A for miles on a tank of gas and trip B for miles on an oil change.

That's exactly what I do. I put so much mileage on the Jeep that I can't even go by the time for oil changes. After every change I pull the sticker off and reset trip B. It's to the point now that the shop doesn't even put a sticker on lol.

I'm actually doing really well so far on mileage in CT this season. All highway I can make 450 miles on a tank.
As far as city I only know I fill up once a week now.

Does anyone know if someone has put the KJ boulder bars on a KK before? Can't find anything and wanted to see how they look. Any reviews on them for that matter?

Yes, these were slightly customized with the extra piping, but they were originally KJ boulder bars

This. You could try PM-ing Rachael(she owns that KK) or try getting in touch with All J to see if they can do it again.

Btw, I filled up the tank today for the first time in forever. 17 gallons came out to $52. I haven't seen gas that cheap in a long time.

Im not a fan of removing the side skirts, since it my opinion it protects the sides from rusting out from the winters here in Canada. Seems like it would cost a lot even to have them custom make the tubular part to go over the skirts. I'll just keep an eye for some used RL or purchasr JCR's new. Thanks
