Wayne, Orlando and I went a couple of years ago when it was still in MA. It was pretty good. Just a really big car show with nothing but Jeeps. They also had a couple of RTI ramps and a "rock garden" (a big pile of smal rocks). The date is still a ways off, but if i have nothing going on, maybe I'll head down for it.

Yeah, it's pretty far in the future for me to know if I'll be able to make it. It's not all that far away from where I am, so chances are I can go (and by then I should have a jeep worth displaying, so it'll be nice)

HI guy's I made this a sticky for now till it get's closer then it'll be an announcment

I have a little more info on this, parking is going to be tough,so those of you who are going it's best if we arrive in caravan then we have a real good chance of being parked together as a group so we'll have to pick a spot to meet

now if only a couple of us show besides myself we're going to hook up & caravan with another group I belong too ( Freedom Trail Riders ) thier a great group of people & going to have a booth set up & stuff I'll be bringing flyers to pass out also :D

Jeff I can pretty much count on you going, so that's a possible 1

everyone else mark your calenders & let's have a good turnout

Actually I'm gonna have to pass on this one. I just checked the calendar, and my friend is having his wedding on that day (and I'm a groomsman).

I am planning right now to go, but I may have a conflict with the Jeep Jamboree. I am looking forward to meeting some of my NE brothers.

Hello all, Im Bull, new to the board. Dont have a KJ but like them and love all JP boards . I saw this post and figured Id post up. The rally is going to be sweet this yaer, always fun, last year we had over 900 jeeps there and it was a blast. Im on the rally committee so any questions just ask. We are also looking for volunteers that day so if you want to help out get a free T and lunch, visit my club, www.nejeep.org and post up under the gen dissc section. Tons of sponsers too with killer raffles.......tires from Interco, BFG, winch, gears lockers, you name it, check it out. Hope to see ya all there, later, Bull.

Great American Jeep Rally – 2006

Northeast Jeep Organization, Inc. and Baystate Jeepers, Inc. proudly present the 6th Annual Great American Jeep Rally on Sunday, September 24, 2006 from 9 AM to 3 PM at the Four Town Fairgrounds located in Somers, CT – approximately 8 miles south of the Massachusetts border.

Jeep enthusiasts have been traveling from all over the northeast to show their appreciation for Jeeps of all kinds – military, antique, new and old, stock to heavily modified. We offer hourly raffles, trophy awards for street, beater, military, antique, and off-road. In addition, attendees may test their Jeep’s articulation on one of the RTI Ramps and play in the Rally Rock Garden just to name a few of the events the entire family will enjoy throughout the day. Food vendors, vendors selling Jeep ware, local organized wheeling club booths, and a Tread Lightly! informational booth will also be readily available.

The mission of the Rally is to raise money for charity and continue its efforts in supporting the Northeast Association of 4 Wheel Drive Clubs (“NEA4WDC”). In addition to the NEA4WDC, Rally proceeds are going to support the Somers, CT Volunteer Fire & Ambulance and the Florida, MA Volunteer Fire Department.

It takes a special person to fill the boots of a volunteer firefighter. Someone with a desire to do something important for their community. Someone with courage and dedication, who isn't afraid of hard work, and is willing to accept the challenge of a difficult job. It takes a person who considers respect and appreciation reward enough. And who is just glad to help. The Rally is proud to support the local communities where we live and play and to give back and honor those that protect us.

The NEA4WDC was established in 2001 and currently has 16 member clubs with a combined membership of over 2,500. Its mission is to protect and promote environmentally responsible Off-Highway Vehicle recreation, while maintaining a harmonious relationship between OHV enthusiasts and landowners. To support and educate Local, State and National agencies in the preservation of OHV recreation.

The newest 2006 and 2007 Jeeps will be displayed for your viewing enjoyment. Learn about Jeeps and talk with their owners. Check out the latest in aftermarket gear. See what works for these Jeepers and take those ideas home with you!

The members of Northeast Jeep Organization and Baystate Jeepers and the other member clubs in the NEA4WDC have been enjoying Off-Highway Vehicle Recreation on permission granted land over the last several years. These clubs and others like them have removed tons of illegally dumped garbage from our natural areas. Our members practice the principles of Tread Lightly!®, respect private property and always leave with more than we go in with.

Please join us on Sunday, September 24th at the Four Town Fairgrounds, located in Somers, CT from 9AM to 3 PM. For more information, please e-mail: Marty Chacon at marty@jeeprally.org or Robin Chacon at robin@jeeprally.org.

To help make this day a grand adventure, you can volunteer to work a couple of hours by contacting Marty Chacon at: marty@jeeprally.org

Join us for another fun filled day of the best and worst Jeeps from all over the northeast. Parking inside the grounds is limited to Jeeps of all types but all 4x4 enthusiasts and members of the general public are encouraged to attend and support our mission. You never know what surprises the Rally holds in store for you!

Please check out our new website at ---> www.jeeprally.org. The new website is full of information including directions, where to stay in Somers, CT, and links to previous Rallies.

See you at the Great American Jeep Rally - 2006!
Northeast Jeep Organization, Inc. & Baystate Jeepers, Inc.
