Yeah, I know. I have the steel for it and have plans to add it, just only had time for this right now. The fenders will be steel, tied into the over all look with the bumper. Skid plate is one of the first things to add to help protect the cooling components down there. The I move to rockrails, rear fenders and rear bumper. Helping another KK this weekend build a lightbar mount that will tie into a rack in future. Essentially, there are many plans, just not enough time for it all at once. But its all coming.

As for the cb, we both mount by the rear left light. The wire routes through a grommit in the cab with ease and the mounting hardware can be just about anything that fits. I trimmed the light with a dremel, and the other kk just places it higher but below the glass. Its a tight fit but doable.

Just had installed-
OME 2927 springs/90009 shocks front - 2731 springs/60069 shocks rear
Ended up with 2.5" lift in the back and 3" in the front
I was blown away by how great it came out.

Pics or it didn't happen :jester: :jester:
It'll settle in nicely. Give it a few thousand miles and a few weeks. It'll drop a tad and ride great. You got your alignment already?

heiliges, what radio do you have? I'm looking for someplace to mount the radio itself. The antenna will go like where you said, by the taillight and tailgate.

Filled up for 18 mpg city miles.
Not too bad considering it's been much colder in Jersey and I have had to use the heat and defroster a few times.

You guys are going to be hurting when the snow is on the ground. Who will be the first one to get a 10mpg tank this Winter? :ROTFL:

:dizzy: I'd love to have a look at your Jeep and see if something is wrong. Unacceptable.

I'd love to sit in the passenger's seat and watch how you drive, Gage! What percent of your mpg increases would you ascribe to mods such as the Hypertech & 4.7 Throttle Body and what percent is due to adjusting the nut behind the wheel?

Once I get my dash cam setup I'll be able to upload videos...I ordered it last night.
I don't really know too much which mods helped to most since I did most at the same time and I wasn't stock for long.
Stock I was getting 16.5 city, within 3 months I installed the CAI, tuner, and exhaust and started seeing higher numbers.
I'd say the majority of my boost in mileage is the nut behind the wheel. Some folks don't even understand the simple things about getting better mileage.
All I know is that a 100 percent stock Libby should be pulling 17-19 city without any trouble and 20-22 highway.

Depends on the speed. The goal is to never come to a complete stop. It's possible. You have to leave buffer room like semis do in traffic... When you get stuck in bumper to bumper traffic sometimes you're forced to stay in first or second gear. Just try to let momentum carry you and take your foot off the accelerator instead of hitting the brakes. With duratracs on, taking your foot off the accelerator should act like the brakes without actually hitting the brakes.
The best thing to do in bumper to bumper traffic is look at the brake lights VERY far ahead of you so you can predetermine what's in store for you, like is it worth it to speed up right now, or no because everyone is still stopped up there...

I hate traffic haha i was going anywhere between 0-10. Sit still for 5 mins then move forward 100 feet and stop again. It was rough

I had a thrush welded exhaust and im was getting 21 mpg highway and like 17 city. i took it off and now i get 14 city and 17 highway, Im deff putting it back on. Alot of it has to do with the backpressure on the resonator, im wondering if i just remove the resonator it might help?

If I see 230miles to this tank I'll be happy. I know the gas light is bound to come on by tonight or tomorrow night(not doing much driving between tonight and tomorrow) and I'm only at ~200 miles before correcting for the 31s.

And I don't know if it counts, but I've seen single digits before in my KK. Last winter I pulled 8mpg off. That was a blizzard and a ton of messing around in rwd though.
