What are the labor rates by the hour? $85-$100 here is the cheapest.

I don't know the labor rates exactly, but the estimate I got from a reputable shop was:
Transmission flush, filter, etc.: $175
Transfer Case & Both Diffs: $75
Oil Change: $35

That's because if you're not a farmer, you're a mechanic. Ofttimes you're both haha. MI and that whole area is the origin for automotive. My grandfather worked for GM for 35 years and my stepfather is a high school drop out self-taught mechanic. Every family has a mechanic haha.

I don't know if I ever mentioned it, but I fixed my rear axle seal the other day. It was leaking for the longest time, so my buddy let me use his shop and taught me how to do it on my own. $25 and a good lesson later, the axle doesn't leak anymore.

Nice Work!
Got my Jeep back and it seems to be smoother and coast better following the transmission, t-case, and diff fluid changes. Maybe a little extra mpg?

Anyone running the stock 18inch rims? The stock tire size is 235/60/18. There are no all terrain or mud tires in this size. So my question is, whats the biggest size my buddy can go without a lift?

I would like to ask the same question - what is the wider tyre size for 18 rim without lift? I could not find any A/T type tyres for 18 rim.

I found that 255/55 or 60 should work. Then you can get general grabbers

So, I think my front wheel bearings are going bad and my washer fluid nozzles are broken as well...not sure if off roading had a play in these issues...

I've broken my windshield washers at least 3 times. Just super glue them back...
I've also have replaced my wheel bearings before (by the dealer). There are a few signs of bad bearings.

No, it either the nozzles being broken inside causing blockage or the pump is broken and not going at full umph.

Right now I'm getting a ree-ree-ree that speed or braking doesn't changed...I need to do the wheel bearing wiggle test.

When mine break you can see the hoses dangling from the hood when you open it up.
When my front bearings went, it was loudest at like 20ish mph and wasn't too noticeable at higher speeds. Every once in a while I would feel it tug the wheel if I was on a curvy road.
I did the wiggle test, too, but I was wrong.
Seems like there have been quite a few people that have had to replace them. I blame mine on possible the original owner driving in four wheel drive when not needed or when I slid in to a ditch and made contact with one of the rims with some force.
I may or may not still have the video I took of the sound the wheel bearings were making. I'll have to check.
Edit: Looks like I deleted it off my YouTube. I remember it sounding like oversized tires,

I'll have to take a video of my sound...but I have the under-hood thing so I have to take that off to look. I can't get anything out of the driver's nozzle and the passenger's nozzle just drools out fluid...

It's most likely just one side that is broken.
Also with the bearings... I remember being able to feel it through the floorboard.

I don't have a vibration...I only noticed it when the radio went silent for a few seconds in between songs and quickly turned it off to listen. It's a higher pitched ree-ree-ree noise. Doesn't affect my driving at all...

Wheel bearings is more low tone. I don't think it's the bearings.
Have you tried turning full lock at slow speeds in a parking lot yet? That may help narrow down a sound. Try in reverse, too.

So...it's the washer fluid line that's broken causing the fluid to not spray where it was intended. I think it was already broken before though due to me finding some tape in that area...I also like this idea and will tape patch it up too since I really don't want to pull apart the dash to trace the rubber hose...

Installed a sound System using the factory Head Unit

Bought the PAC AOEM-CHR3 from amazon.
Bought 4 Rockford Fosgate P165 Punch 6.5-Inch 2-Way Coaxial Full-Range Speakers
Bought SK-PRO154 - Skar Audio 15 ft 4-Channel Pro Series RCA Audio Interconnects
and of course the Amp Rockford Fosgate R400-4D 400 Watt Full-Range Class-D 4-Channel Amplifier

Used the PAC controller with the factory head unit. Make sure to Disconnect the speaker wires from the harness if your only using RCA.
Ran all wires from center console power distribution I created.

Don't bother with the speaker adaptor thing. just mount the speaker directly to the plastic speaker housing. You can fit up to 6.75 in the hole.. even though the specs on crutch field say its not compatible. I had plenty of room left over.

I also cut into the factory harness for speakers at the pillars front and rear INTERIOR. I didn't want to cut holes and run wires through the doors. Using the factory wires that run through the doors was much easier

Thanks for getting a video!
I have no idea what that noise is, but I don't think it's the bearings.
Sounds like Santa on top of your roof or someone with a tambourine.
