Check the front driveline cv on the transfer case side. Mine sounded like that at first and eventually got louder sounding like i was dragging chains.

Replaced the Factory Antenna.. Anyone who uses those brushes on the automatic car wash needs to look at the old antenna! This is 2 years of automatic car washes on the antenna while the car was a rental.... Pretty sure if the automatic car wash can eat the antenna, it's not safe for the finish on your car!

The Jeep seems to be a magnet for bad luck lately. After being keyed a couple weeks ago (and fixed last week) a huge stone hit the windshield yesterday and created a chip about the diameter of a quarter. It'll be fixed Thursday through insurance but I wouldn't be surprised if they dropped me after having a few claims; especially filing 2 claims in a month!

I went hunting this weekend. Right up to the Delhi/Oneonta area. I actually got really good gas mileage too! The best I saw was almost 17mpg. And she did alright with all the hills/mountains especially carry 3 full grown men and gear for hunting for a weekend.

She was covered in salt and mud, now thankfully clean. I need to give it a more thorough bath Wednesday when I get time.

Almost forgot, I almost took out 3 deer. 3 separate times I had a deer jump out when rolling 60+ down the road. Sadly we saw more deer on the sides of the road than in the woods. All we saw in the woods was about 5 does together, sadly none of us had a doe permit :banghead:

I saw 17mpg too! I was actually thoroughly impressed by that too haha.

You can allow yourself some lee-way when seeing the deer because of your guard, you'll scratch your fascia a little bit but no damage to the Jeep for the most part. I know from experience haha.

I know not much survives a deer hit at 40+ mph lol. Still a fun weekend. I got a little wheeling in on the properties. 2 feet of snow fell the day or so before we went up making the dirt trails fun.

Oh and my spots went out on me again. This time even the switch isn't getting power. I'm gonna have to tear into it again and see what's up, or possibly just rewire them. Last time I figured it was the corrosion on the battery. Not sure what it is this time...

Check all your connections, they can corrode if not protected from the elements.

Gas cap light came on today. Last time I got gas was on Sunday night before i drove 150 miles back to school no issues. I get in today for the first time since Sunday, drive 2 minutes and the light comes on. Pull over to check, open the gas door and the cap fell out. Needless to say, I will be going to my campus police before I drive anywhere else to check the cameras.

Thanks for getting a video!
I have no idea what that noise is, but I don't think it's the bearings.
Sounds like Santa on top of your roof or someone with a tambourine.

So good news is...the noise has left after my 3 hour drive on the interstate almost immediately after the video...I think it was a piece of gravel/cinder (that's what WV uses to "salt" the roads) stuck in the caliper and just bouncing around since it wasn't speed oriented...

Took it out to Hidden Falls with JeepNCrowd and another Texas native
It's been a while since I've been on the trails... I really missed it.

Had a blast! It was the first time disconnecting my sway bar in the front and it actually made a difference. I noticed I was much flatter in off camber situations and the overall ride was less jarring

Went through some trails with a couple other Jeeps. Got some really awesome photos!

Only mishap was that I watched my driver's fog light go out. When outside the Jeep, looked back and noticed it was REALLY yellow (they're stock) and then blink! no more light haha...looks like water got in somewhere...
