Skyjacker does not make a big spacer lift for the KK. The one they sell is 2". A question was asked which was never answered. What else was added to the spacer lift to make it sit so high? The LCA is hitting the stop, when at lock, high up on the curve. Thus the rub and pulling down the front end. With the rig so high, the rattle you are hearing most likely is the UCA contacting the spring.
Can you post a Pic of the front suspension so we ca see what all is going on? This would help us to evaluate the situation more.

Agree
we need Paul Harvey to come back from the grave on this one
we need " the rest of the story"

Have we had a true measurement yet of the front and rear ?

They sell a 2.5" for the kk and nitro. Kkn25. Previous posts have their respectable links. Except there is no picture yet of the suspension in the wheel well. I should have it taken apart sometime next week for new shocks.

OK so you have a 2.5 inch spacer lift but ended up with 3.25 in front
What else did you add ? i.e. like a clevis or top plate or ??

something else had to be added or something you did gave you more lift

Not for this style of spacer lift. It's identical to my old Daystar which replaced the stock lower isolators in the front and rear.

yes I removed the isolator. the kit came with a 1/4" or so strut plate. the clevis is lowered all the way onto the shock.

I like Skyjackers lift kit better. yes, their both cheaper alternatives to a full suspension lift. Skyjackers 2.5" lift for the kk has thicker spacers and a strut plate included. Daystars kit from what I saw briefly was infact a cheep lift and it showed. Skyjackers was $279, not the cheapest budget lit kit out there!

Sadly yes , they should all be taken from the market
Over the past ten years plus I can't remember how many have had issues with them and on here trying to figure out what to do.
Then they finally got fed up did full spring and you never hear from them again about suspension issues ( well except telling others not to buy a spacer lift)

I will upload some after work. I don't have any pics of the lift yet besides what is on my website.

I just realized the sway bar link bushings are shot. :furious: these are the best shots for now. I'll upload some more in depth photos when its apart when the shocks go in.

Looks like you have a torn UCA boot as well ( small hole shown in one picture )
plus couple of marks on the springs from what appears to be UCA contact since no extended bumpstops

Also, not sure if Skyjacker said it's any different, but I know when I installed the Daystar lift (identical to this one) their instructions were to install the bigger isolator under the spring not above as you have pictured. The popping noise could be your UCA contact on the spring and/or your UCA ball joint being dry since there's a puncture in the boot.

Boy do I feel stupid!!! The spacer should be on the bottom of the shock... that should give the shoch an extra 1/4" or so for the shock to move. And maybe the 3.25" after I fix will be the actual 2.5" or 3" lift. :dizzy:

I'm still installing the shocks. Ball joints next year along with a bull bar.
