Not today but on Saturday I put her to work.

It was snowing pretty hard and the roads weren't the greatest. But there was no better vehicle to be in to get a tree!

Hello all, I know I'm a KA not a KK but not much goes on at the nitro forum. i'll start with ive got a 2007 Nitro slt. lifted 3"s in the front and 4"s in the back 265/70/17 terra grapplers on fuel hostage wheels. also trimmed bumper roofrack and 2 LED light bars. and just ordered a mid section and pre runner hoop from Morgan (at the helm) and im gonna finish it off and have the first at the helm nitro bumper!
Not quite sure how to post pictures on threads here either.

Welcome. KA, KK all basically the same. Scar0 actually has a KA as well. You need to upload the pics to an image hosting site. Most use photobucket. Then you copy the url and put it in the img brackets.

I use the Facebook and set it to "Only Me" and then copy/paste the image url. It's faster this way than emailing for me since I use my phone as my camera haha.

haha, true. Its just the camera angle that, to me makes it look lowered. the rims look like their 15" from that angle. but, its a nice clean jeep!

It appears I've had enough LED brake light burn out. These things last about 1/10 the life of an incandescent bulb in my experience so far. This will be the second one I've replaced in about a year.

Stop buying those LED bulb and do a LED rerto-fit LED. It looks better and work much better than just using those bulbs

I'd love to but I'd need some sort of a write up to guide me. I'd hate to dive into it without knowing what I was getting myself into.

Anyone have an at the helm front bumper non winch and only the day star kit, have any sag in the front end?
if so, how much sag? I was considering adding a 1.5" to the front coil pack if there is a sag. thanks!

I had the Daystar and ATH mounts that I built my bumper off of. It didn't really droop a whole lot, but with it being the Daystar and the springs having too much preload on them, the springs and shocks will wear out faster than normal. How much faster I'm not sure, my suspension was killed by Daystar after 10,000mi (5,000mi before I started my build).

Adding another 1.5" would be way too much.. I'd leave it for a while and see how it goes, then if necessary add a clevis lift. Best thing to do though (bumper or not) is just upgrade to Ome/JBA/Ironman springs and better shocks.

I'm running that setup currently and have yet to experience any noticeable sag

Thanks to Gage for the part number for these:

Out with the old and burnt out and in the new Putco Yellow Fog lights:

Image

The difference is a lot better in person because of this glare from somewhere...

Out with the old but working and in with the new:

Image

Still good/burnt out (sorry for how blurry this is...):

Working fogs again!:

I'll take a night shot soon, probably tomorrow(ish).

I really enjoy those lights. They work great, and look good without being too obnoxious. Glad I could help.
