Never been to a Starbucks in my life, but I have seen some pretty steeply sloped driveways up into some, may not make it even into them.

I'm curious to know what's stopping a 6" lift. I know JBA has KJ 4"-6" lift adjustable coilovers and we have the same front suspension setup. There's also the cradle drop, which I may be wrong but KKs have pretty much the same thing as a KJ right? Another option is what if the CVs were swapped out with RCVs axles allowing for more extreme angles? For the rear we can use the 6" rear springs and fab long arms and get extended driveshafts we should be able to do a 6" right? I'm just thinking aloud here...so please feel free to criticize haha.

Okay -I have not read the entire thread
- has anyone mentioned that the 6" lift comes from disassembling the CV's and cutting off 3/8" of the outer edge to allow the joint to go to a more extreme angle??
not that it's tested much- but that should reduce the strength of the joint.

That's why if anyone really serious about using the extra lift - they go to SFA - it's a proven technology.

With JBA 6" lift its actually a 4" lift with a cradle drop as far as the CVs are concerned. So its the same angle for the cv shafts. And your cutting 3/8 of a inch off the "inside cup", so no strength is lost.

It mounts to holes for where a hitch would go. Protrudes straight down so its probably 6 or 8 " tucked up under the rear bumper

Did you weld the tabs thru the bar? Or just surface welded them on? They need to be welded on the front and rear.

So to get this back on topic a bit. Why don't those with a 4" lift use the other JBA adjustable struts that are for the 6" lift? Where it has the second spring under that is adjustable.

Got it wrong, there isn't two springs
The 6 inch uses the 4 inch spring lift plus cradle drop ( on the KJs only)

I thought I remembered seeing JBA had their 6" lift struts having a mini spring underneath that would be compressed to provide the 6" lift. I just spent 15min trying to find this strut but to no avail. What was this strut I'm thinking of for then?

EDIT: It seems that the only one they make is for the WK/XKs 6"-8" lift...oops...

The clevis is 2" longer on the 6" coilovers vs the 4". The shock and spring is all the same.
