Has anyone installed the Engo e10000 winch onto the ARB bumper? If so we're there any fitment issues to deal with and how is the setup working for you?

Handle will give you some problems have to cut out some on top to be able to turn it. Will also have to rotate the mounting so feet are forward of course

Ok, thanks ....Well I don't want to do any cutting if I don't need to. Will probably go with Smittybilt xrc9.5 Gonna try to save a little on the winch as I will also be upgrading to 790 front springs when I bolt the bumper on.

Allright, how much cutting are we talking about. I don't want to butcher my new bumper. But I also don't want to drop 600 for a warn winch. Does anyone have pics so I can understand better? Again thank you for the advice, I would hate to buy something that I can't use. Parts will be ordered tomorrow as soon as I get best price shipped on bumper. So far looks like JBA once again.

$600 is a bargain for a winch that will actually work when you most need it.If you just want it for show just skip it all together.

The WARN M8000 with syn line will out perform any china made winch regardless of weight rating.

Warn is basically a drop in, bolt up and go
Any of the Chinese ones will need to have some cutting done on top ( since they are basically all the same) where the handle comes up through. Cut about a 4" X 4" area or better, John has done it on my old ARB bumper that he has now.

Tommudd, if I am correct you run 970 springs on gasser with steel bumper. I too am considering the 970's . Do you think they are better in the long run over the 927's? Bumper was just delivered today and everything will be installed this weekend. Thanks again.

Mine are fine but they had 50,000 on them when I bought them. Tom ran both on his. Are you going with synthetic or steel rope on the winch? If steel then I'd say 790's for sure.

927s and no winch just the ARB for 100,000 miles, went to 790s and extras for 50,000 or so before I sold that setup and moved on

Yes, steel rope. I was going to do a variation of the tommudd econolift. Ditching the rough country and for the front going to use Ironman struts, 790 springs instead of ironman, 1/4 top plate. No clevis for now till I see how it sits.

That will work and give you about 2.75-3 inches of lift , ride will be firm when first installed due to the springs but will break in

Perfect, and once it's broken in I can add the clevis lift if needed. And I'm sure even firm will still be much better than my very "ROUGH" country lift I have right now. Thank you for responding to this.

Don't want to be a pain, but how much clevis lift can I do with the above mentioned setup. I don't want to mess with my CV's right now I already spent a bunch of coin and don't want to make the wife get upset. I already have JBA UCA's.

You could do a 3/8 inch clevis with the top plate but thats it then, all she wrote
