Does anyone have this installed or have a review? http://jeepinbyal.com/affiliate-product ... rkels.html

Ran my CRD down a 1.5ft deep stream for a few hundred yards last weekend and, needless to say, I was pretty worried I would hit a drop at any moment. A snorkel would have put me at ease... plus they look BA!

I've read a couple how-to-install guides on here, but no actual product reviews.

Thanks!

Snorkel is only 50% of what you need, but if you do a search you'll find some who have installed

1) Use di-electric grease on all electrical connections under the hood
2) Install high quality spark plug wires
3) Raise all your vent lines as high as you can - front / rear axle / tranny
4) Wrap my gas cap with electrical tape

Would there be an issue with the fan?
Anything else I am missing?

Not looking at a snorkel simply for aesthetics.

I've had my Air Flow on my KJ since they were first introduced into the US through Dirk at DPG off road, I believe around 2005/ 2006. I actually think I got it off a group buy from on here.

Fit is great, the only areas where it was kinda troublesome were the templates. I just measured a million times and cut once.

Yep, the chap who fitted mine found that the templates were more of a rough guideline than a set of accurate markers! Use the templates as a guide only and measure, measure measure before you cut.

Owning a muffler shop, and being moderately handy with oxy/acy weld, wire weld, metal fab, I've thought I'd like to attempt building my own. Any closeup pics of various components, finished installs?

Picked mine up off someone new for $300 and paid $400 to have it installed by a 4x4 shop.
