Thanks ! Great presentation. I'm really glad I found this forum. Since I still don't have the owners manual, is there a site I can go to, to get maintenance tips and or changing the oil especially on a 4x4 ?

Best would be to just pick up one of those manuals, they are only $5 or so on eBay or from somebody here.

Other than that, you can ask on here what maintenance questions you have, or better yet, browse around and search for the information, you could find a lot of stuff you didn't even know to ask.

Side Note: This thread reminds me that we need a wiki or something - somewhere we can put the real frequently asked questions in a format that is easier to read, an actual Q: A: sort of page, maybe with links to the apropriate threads of need be. the FAQ section at the moment isn't very helpful, since it ended up being where people post new questions. Now that's not to say that I don't mind answering questions when needed, but it would be nice to give people a page to reference so they can get all the info they need, yknow?

For the issue of maintaining the sunroof I might have a suggestion. I work for VW and we use a product from NAPA called sillglide. Works fantastic for sunroof guides.
