Ok, I am pulling the trigger on front struts today. I have an 05 kj 3.7, ARB front bumper with winch. Front has now OME 790 springs, 1/4 in top plate, 3nust on clevis, and some REALLY cheap struts. Rear is OME 948 springs, 3 upper isolators, and Monroe load adjust shocks.

The front struts have never been able to handle these springs, and now with the added weight of the bumper and winch its started jumping all over the road with our lovely Houston roads. so im not sure which struts to get. options are

Rancho rs9000xl adjustable
Ironman
OME
Bilstein

Im not worried about price as long as they will tame the beast going down the road, and do good offroad as im out playing every weekend. Will also be adding JBA'S A-Arms frist of next month.

Thanks Jack

I'd go OME because the springs and shocks were built to work together.

What he said
You've already compromised your springs with the cheap front shocks so don't expect them to last as long now

OME it is then, as for the springs not lasting long, it sucks, but i will also be going to the jba adjust a strut by the end of the year, just gotta keep her going till then. Gotta rebuild the trans, both diffs, and need a front drive shaft too.
