Thanks for all the info guys, I hqve one last question, would i be able to run just the shocks and springs from this list temporarily (a year or so) as a 2.5" lift with thr long travel shocks? Wouldn't i still need to extra bump stop length if I did this? Limiting straps?

Get the extended shocks for the rear , fronts are all the same of course, ( Ironman of course are longer shocks if going that way, both front and rear )
But yes you can run that way just install bumpstops

It appears as though the original Bilsteins I used 4 years ago are no longer valid models. So if I decided to stick with Bilstein (to save a few bucks) I'd just be looking at the Heavy Duty Front Shock (or strut according to JBA) and then the 2.5" lift rear shocks? Based on what I'm seeing on the JBA site??? Does anyone have the correct Bilstein model numbers? I have a friend that works for an auto parts company so I might be able to save a few more bucks through him.

Look up 99-04 Dodge Dakota 4WD for the bilsteins then the sleeve kit from JBA so bottom bolts on good

I was wrong. Looks like Shockwarehouse does still have these parts that I ordered last time.

F4-BE5-D916-H0 front shocks
F4-BE5-6458-H7 rear shocks

However, it says the rear shocks are for 87-95 Wrangler. Did I order the wrong ones before or will these work?

Yes you can change the pinion angle with the bracket
U-joints going every year? In 213,000 miles I replaced mine at 55,000 , then 185,000 :?:

On another forum you agreed with a user about using a Mopar part or were you referring to one of the other parts mentioned other than the tri link? I definitely don't want to spend $400 on a factory part if I will still be in a bind and possibly still burning out U-joints.

I found that while searching for better pictures of how the tri link is installed and trying to find the torque specs. Does anyone have the torque specs for the tri link on a 2007 Liberty?

If its the tri-link you are talking about then yes I would only use Mopar. Aftermarkets are cheap for a reason.
But the tri-link kit from JBA defiantly helps to relieve some of the stress when lifted up in the 3 plus

One thing I personaly found with the u-joints, is even the hd/super joints "what ever they call them where your at" do not last as long as the OE u-joints. Once I went back to the OE u-joints, I have not had a problem with them. I too was going threw them at least twice a year, but I also drive my KJ like I drive my Firebird drag car. I have the Tri-link installed as of 250 miles ago, tell me what you would like to see, and ill put her on the lift today and get pictures for you.

Swapped out my OE at 55,000 miles, ( worn completely out )
Have had two other sets now at 213,000 ( neither set worn out, just had some in stock and swapped them out )
Aftermarkets (NAPA) go good for me, both sets were/are greaseable ones
and as anyone that has ever rode with me can tell you I'm not easy on mine, takeoffs are pedal on the floor
One reason trilinks don't last long for me, cheap ones less than 3 months

Sorry for the delayed response. Other priorities, life and stuff. I was just wanting to see some pictures of how the part linked above from JBA was installed. Glad (sort of) to hear I'm not the only one having these issues. I'm going to buy a magnetic angle finder and see if I can get the pinion angle correct with the JBA part. If in fact that is the correct part.

Well there isn't a version with OME
BUT OME can be used and its been written up at least 1000's of times on here
but one more time
( so assuming you have a gasser)
Front
OME 927
OME front shocks 90009 ( all the same )
3/8 inch clevis
1/4 inch top plate
Teraflex bumpstops
Rear
OME 948
OME shocks making sure you get the longer ones not stock length, N132L
two upper rear isolators per side ( 4 total)
2 hockey pucks per side for bumpstops

JBA upper control arms
about will give you about 3.5-3.75 inches when fully settle in , right where you want to be I assume , right height no spring/ UCA contact
245-75-16 tires on it and done unless you are also regearing to 4.10s and going larger tires

On the upper isolators, are we adding 2 additional uppers per side? For total of 1 lower and 3 uppers or just adding 1 upper per side for total of 1 lower and 2 uppers per side. I apologize for the redundant question. I'm sure this has been answered somewhere I just could not find it.

I'm having driveline vibration with my lift. So if I ordered this:

http://jeepinbyal.com/liberty-2002-2007 ... lifts.html

that would help?

*edit Wait...I should have read further down. Looks like that was answered 3 posts up.

Sorry I had netted that first post via the search. Looked like the conversation was going elsewhere, when I quoted that part.

I later saw how the thread progressed.
