I frigging HATE the press in studs for the strut mount.

I ended up having to weld one last time I put the struts in, and now I have to weld a different one just to get them out again.

They just keep spinning loose!

Had my front coilovers in/out 20 times when my KJ was still IFS and never had a issue.

A torque wrench is your friend.

Actually,

I remember read somewhere somebody posted that there was a ford vehicle whose wheel studs worked for top plate bolts. Turns out, there is a ford dealership in the family.

Can someone hook me up with that info?

The oil filter location! That's about all I've ever hated, oh, and lack of much dash-top space.

Oil filter location
Window regulators
Gas mileage
The way the stock rims collect mud throwing the wheel balance off
That every single thing squeaks and rattles every time you hit a pebble

On the bright side none of that makes me want this darn thing any less... JEEP ON!

Ya know, I haven't lost a single window regulator yet. I've had it from 43,000 miles. Has 106,000 now. (Now that I say that, watch me lose one this afternoon!)

---The KJ has a "easy to get to" oil filter compared to some vehicles.

---Still on all 4 of my factory installed regulators and I'm a smoker so they go up/down a lot.

---4000lbs brick,what did you expect?

---Every rim collects mud and throws them off balance, can't get away from that on any vehicle or any rim.

---It's a Jeep,and a cheap one at that.Want rattle free pony up $400k for a Bentley.

Exactly....Just got back last evening from a short 340 mile run, most highway maybe 20-25 back roads, 10-15 city even with snow, rain , slush, slipsliding around still averaged 19.7 from hand calculations. ( was trying to see if that bored throttle body did anything at all )

Gas mileage.........this thing is great for a 4x4. Try my V10 4x4 Excursion it gets 12 highway and 9 city and drops to 6 when I tow. Forget about going seriusly offroad at 9000lbs. But it has its purpose. If you want great gas mileage that is what they make prius and civic for, But I would not recommend going anywhere this jeep goes. This is by far my favorite vehicle......But to get back on topic, I hate that the stereo is not a basic single or double din. There are a lot of nice double din Nav systems out there that without moding the dash can not be easily installed.

How is your weight so heavy. Curb weight of an 07 gasser is only 3,655 lbs. Do you have 2,500 lbs of cargo/accessories.
...correction. 4x4 model is 4,033 so 2100lb of additional weight?
