I know we decided to meet at the rest area just across the border into NH before, but I will be up in Maine this weekend (installing the Frankenlift!) and will probably leaving right from Maine on Monday morning. I'd like to suggest a meeting-place change for these reasons:

- The place we'll be wheeling is near Rochester, NH
- The place I'll be in Maine is about 30 minutes northeast of Rochester, NH
- The rest stop is over an hour further south in Salem, NH.
- The rest stop isn't on the way to Rochester for you guys anyway, since you take 95 to get there, not 93.

I know a few of you guys will be coming from MA, so definitely pick a place down there to meet before the convoy up north (probably something on 95 would be best)

I'd like to meet you guys either right in Rochester, or possibly over in Portsmouth or Kittery if that is easier to get to, being right off I-95. I don't know any good easy-to-find places in Rochester, but I know these are easy to find:

- State Liquor store in Portsmouth (on the rotary)
- Kittery Trading Post (just over the bridge into maine on rt 1)

Offroading is in Rochester, NH, but some of you folks coming up from MA should meet somewhere down in MA and do a convoy up.

Pete - want to pick a time to meet me at the Liquor Store in the Portsmouth traffic circle? If you were going to start from MA at 9, you'd probably be to the liquor store around 10-10:30 or so, as an estimate.

EDIT: I now see you are coming down from Scarborough, Jon. You can just meet us at the Liquor Store at whatever time the MA people are coming up, just keep an eye on this post to see what time it will be

Sounds good. I believe that is this rest area you'll find:

Seabrook Welcome Center
GPS: N42.53.054 W70.52.850
Time: 9:00am, Monday May 29th
http://maps.google.com/?ll=42.884467,-70.881128&spn=0.00408,0.009087&t=h&om=1

I mis-read your post before about the rest stop, I thought you meant the same one we met at before. We should still do the liquor store location anyway, though, it's a convenient place to take off from since the highway is right there.

Hmm, according to my GPS, that's only ~20 minutes away from the liquor store. NH is a pretty short state in that direction! Meet you at the liquor store by 9:30am (or as soon as we have everyone), give me a call if you'll be late, PM me for my cell # if you don't have it (and/or PM me your number if I don't have it)

Followed by a caravan up to:

NH State Liquor Store in the Portsmouth Rotary
GPS: N43.04.403 W70.46.780
Time: 9:30am, Monday May 29th
http://maps.google.com/?om=1&ll=43.072995,-70.781264&spn=0.004068,0.009087

From there we'll head up the Spaulding Turnpike to Rochester, I have the GPS coordinates of the head of two trails. I don't know of any places nearby to air up/down, yet, so we'll need to scope those out when we get there.

We need a CB Channel - how about 12, that's pretty random.

So are ya coming Jon? meeting at the portsmouth rotary liquor store?

I tried to get a meter at radioshack, but they didn't have one in stock. Maybe I'll bug you to use yours if I get my antenna wired up by monday. Or I'll just use my magmount still, since it works fine.

I was just picking a random channel, I didn't know we had a usual :-P
