Lately I have just started hearing a pop/clunk noise up front on rebound. I took a look under and didn't see anything obviously wrong. My guess is it is coming from the sway bar. Has anyone else ran into this issue before? What kind of aftermarket bushings/links are out there?

Go to the car wash
grab the wand and spray the heck out of the sway bar bushings
they get dirt and grime back in them during winter
keep bushings are happy / quiet bushings

I'll give it a try when I go out later today, if I use any lube it should be silicone based, right?

I did crawl further underneath the back now that it is warmer and noticed if I move my spare in the right way the heat shield rattles. After breakfast I'm going to BFH the parts closest to the tire then try and put some brake quiet between the body and shield.

Edit: Looks like my sway bar bushing is starting to crack and may have shifted over a bit. The passenger side link doesn't look right to me.

re torque the struts. that's been my issue since day 1 really and various people helping me out with the install. I have poly bushings on my sway bar with a zerk. every time I go through a "puddle" or off road, I flush out the old grease with the new grease. wouldn't be a bad idea for the sway bars. my rubber bushings were shot when I put my lift on around 16k miles. my Liberty R&P topic is on here some where.

installed over 5k miles ago.

Never a good idea to grease rubber bushings, grease breaks down the rubber and deteriorates faster
Poly bushings you can but no use in them really
BEST thing is to keep them clean. Stock bushings and still no noise from them with over 214,000 miles and more lifted miles than most will ever see

right! I just drilled a hole through the bracket and poly bushings. I have yet to trace in some grease paths in the bushings. but every time I pump in some new grease, it takes about 2 complete pumps before I start seeing any grease. so, it seems like its staying in there pretty good.

last time I pumped in new grease, those buggers were bone dry. I use lithium grease, which should be water resistant. maybe that was the road salts doing?
