Too late, I'm already decending down the black hole! Ugh. So a new update.... All was fixed and was driving it off the lot when that big ol hose coming from the turbo blew. :5SHOTS:
I think my jeep knows I just recieved my Tax return and is collecting with a vengeance!
Btw does anyone make an aftermarket hose that's NOT rubber????

Best deal on turbo CAC hoses is idParts if they are still accepting discounted pre-orders.

Yep, you are looking for both boost hoses, silicone is your friend.

IDparts.com under the "performance upgrades" section.

About a month ago I had the alternator and pulley replaced due to some really strange rattling and clicking. The Alternator pulley was also covered in a rusty colored dust. Also had a new belt slapped on. Off topic but I'm wondering after reading some posts if the tensioner pulley should have been replaced also? But back to the squeal. I took the jeep for a drive this afternoon and it seems to only do it (when it wants to) when I Accelerate into a turn.

Hi Ellie.

I noticed in this post (sorry - I'm late to the party here). I had my tensioner go bad a while back. My alt had that dust color, too. Turns out that the coupler on the alternator was degrading, and causing excessive bouncing on the serpentine belt. That caused a pulley and a tensioner to go bad. If you have not replaced the coupler (pulley on the alternator), please do so. It is the core of your problem.

For me, the alt coupler bounced enough that it caused a tensioner to go bad and a pulley (not at same time, but the data points connected after the pulley failure, as the pulley was only a year old). While I was driving, the pulley failed, and shredded the serp belt. Had a loss of power steering, power brakes, alternator while driving at night. Made for a fun drive.
