Any one know if a electric fan from a 2.4 KJ is a straight swap for our mechanical fan. see one advertised and the cowling looks the same?

Not sure if any U.S. Member can answer this, as we didn't get the 2.4 (I thought those came in 2.8 and 2.5?). But if you don't mind paying few hundred bucks, get the ffdynamics fan kit, I have it and love it!

We got the 2.4 gas version. I don't think they sold many. I guess it uses the same fan as the v6 gasser. Have been looking into a after market fan and come across one from a gasser. Thought it might hang straight to the existing radiator brackets etc.

Duh, you're right, they sold that here too, my bad. I remember some conversation about this, not sure if anybody did it. I wrote a small post in tech forum about the ff dynamics fan, and it's almost a bolt in with some auxiliary brackets that you can make in few minutes. You can also look at summitracing.com for some alternatives. Regardless of your choice, good luck!
