Are there any grease points on the Libby? I purchased a Haynes manual and all it states is to get under the vehicle and look for them :?

I'm mainly concerned about a groaning noise coming from the back end and I'm not scheduled to change the trak-lok for another 10K miles, so I don't think that is it...

Thanks,
Joey

Wasn't there an issue with the KJs rear brakes moaning? My memory is vague but I think I've heard of it, anyone??

The brakes will moan in the morning as a result of condensation. It goes away after driving a few hundred feet and isn't a problem. I brought it to the dealership and they said all was fine and others on here had the same noise and experienced no problems.

Hmmm, might be the rear brakes...definitely would not be condinsation though, as I keep the car in a garage. I mainly notice this when the car is doing a three point turn in the bottom of our driveway...so it's more noticeable on hard turns at slow speeds.

Thanks for letting me know on the grease points...I couldn't see a thing under there and though I was missing something.

Joey, is the picture in your avatar close to Pittsburgh? That looks cool! I'm out in Western PA all the time on business and I may have to hook up with you guys on a run. I've always thought that with all those hills there has to be some good wheeling available...

About an hour from Pittsburgh in the Laural Highlands (Allegheny Mountains). You know...Enterprise rents Libby's ;) , not that anyone would ever think of taking a rental car offroading...right?
