I've enjoyed my crd for two years now. I never got the tune. I know. And I live right by them. I get it.. I haven't done what I'm supposed to do. I drive it, but it belongs to my fiancée. He never wanted to spend the money to do that. But now that's its broken down more times than he can handle, he is finally interested in some solution.
I live near Detroit and I need somewhere reliable to get some things fixed up.. timing belt, radiator leak, scary shake&rattle...
Then I'm pretty sure ill be ready to sell.
I drive constantly and I need something unbelievably reliable.

I can fix those things for you. I bet the scary shake & rattle may be the brake lines. It took me $1200 to figure out the the brake line needed replacing. The front wheels would shake for no reason.

I can fix those things but I would need the Jeep. Do you have other transportation while it is getting fixed?

I can't believe how often this happens - I was *just* in Detroit about a week ago and would have been happy to work on it for you.

Depending on where the leak is, a radiator leak is fairly common and easy to fix. The timing belt is WAY overdue by age right now, so that is something that I would suggest is attended to promptly.

Please describe this shake and rattle situation? As much detail as you can offer, we can usually nail down the cause pretty quickly. If you wanted to talk about having me come back up there and work on your CRD, I can be available for that. Lets get a list together of what your CRD might need to become as bulletproof as possible, and you may find that you want to keep it rather than selling it - sadly, the values have plummeted recently and they are starting to be worth more to fix and keep than to sell.
