Hi all,

I saw a post recently where someone had troube with thier part time 4wd light not going off. I can't find the post now, but I went wheeling this weekend and took some hard bumps and now my

Part time light doesn't go off when I'm in 2wd. The light goes off when I put it in part time 4wd.

This seems like a minor thing but it's driving me crazy.

P.S. I also got stuck in the mud and had to have a toyota pickup pull me out.

i still have the same problem, just too lazy to get under the KJ at the moment. Apparently it's the T-case position sensor. It's on the driver's side top of the t-case and it's probably just fouled up. I need to take mine out to clean/replace it and that should fix it.

Thanks for the info everyone. It's just a minor annoyance I guess and I'll see about getting it fixed if I'm in the shop for something else.

It's under warranty still, you may as well get it fixed now, just in case that's not the real problem
