For those of you who have a winch on their KK, what rated line pull do you run? I'm looking at getting a 9000, 9500, or a 10000. All are relatively close in their price so I'm not really worried about that. Additionally, I will be getting synthetic line for weight savings and safety.

I run 9k Warn on my KJ, get the biggest you can afford (obviously not a 50k hydraulic)

Id rather have a 9k Warn than a 12k Harbor freight.

They say 2x the Jeeps weight. Going by that I need an 11k on my Jeep. Or just a few snatch blocks.......

1.5 times the weight is more like it so any 8K winch is just fine for a KJ or KK.

WARN M8000 is a great winch and a great price and it works.I run a WARN 9500XP but my KJ weighs 6000lbs+ and I like the super fast line speed.

Yep doesn't take much, was at 5500lbs before the SFA swap, weighed the KJ with no spare or tools and came to just over 6000lbs so I should be about 6200-6300lbs.

I have a Mile Marker 8000lb winch. It has a steel cable and I want to change it to synthetic everytime I have move the thing. I have my winch mounted in a cradle as I went with the removable mount so as to no interfere with my approach angle and having the winch in the elements rusting away. It was also just easier to mod my bumper to add a front receiver...especially since my guard prevents me from mounting it on the bumper...

I have the Engo 9500s for about 2 years now. It's held up just fine and came with a synthetic line.

I'm ordering an Engo 10,000lb with synthetic line. Getting a pretty decent deal on it.
