My check engine light came on so I took it to a shop to be checked out. There was a low boost error and a egr error. They took the egr off and it was full of oil. It is not smoking at all.

I told them to clean the egr and tube, put it back on, and run a hose from the ccv to vent under the vehicle.

First, read the noob guide that is in here.

Next, your egr is prolly junk and needs disable asap. Do the "off-road" mod until you can buy a gde tune.

Also, prolly a good time to clean the map sensor.

The benefit/harm of the ehm is debate able by members here. Research that and make your own decision.

The dipsticks on these are off. The e mark is actually close to full. 6.3 quarts with a normal size filter. Anything more and it will spit it out the crankcase and I would assume this is what happened in your case
