#2 is a hell no, my buddy had a set on his avenger that we put on my black kk one day for poops and giggles and they looked so bad.
#1 it's hard to find the right specs, I liked then original rocks tars though and more sizes.
#3 would be my choice of the 4.
#4 just seems too tuner car for my taste and probably be hard to find replacement down the road

idc if somoene is an award winning photographer, interior designer, pope, or a slab of beef. If someone posts on an open forum asking for opinions then why get butt hurt when people give theirs. if i dont like any of the wheels then ill say it, why? cause i was asked for my opinion. Now if it were a post on his rig with pictures showing all hes done and hes showing it off and i make negative comments then thats different cause my opinion wasnt asked for. dont like input then dont ask for input.

I appreciate everyone's suggestions! There are always so many points
and aspects we don't remember to take in consideration. Like, I mostly drive my jeep
on sand/at the beach, and not on rocky/really bumpy roads... There's not much curb parking where I live, so I wouldn't
be worried about scratching it.. Just looking for a black tough/techy/futuristic looking rims, to give the Jeep a different/newer face.

Yeah I'm not really sure about the fitting, online they say it would fit, so I would have to
do a better research there.

yupp - all stock - no lift

Those Moabs The_dealer mentioned are good looking but they kinda look like the stock rims... They would look good in black! But but anyways..
so maybe my question would be,

what's your favorite black rim that fits a 08 KK with no problems?

Moabs unlifted would be a bad choice since they are 8 inches wide and will rub
need to stick to 7 inches wide and 5 inches of backspacing

+1 on the Plastidipped rims. First mod I did. (I actually dipped all of my chrome too while I was at it) Looked great until I figured what to do with my suspension and tires.

I'm not really a spoke guy but if I had to choose out of the 4, I'd pick #3.

My advice on this. Get a step ladder. Lift the gate up. Then plastidip the trunk emblems so it's flat and won't run. That's what I did at least. Taped it. Popped it. Climbed on the ladder and then dipped it

Except that none of those pictured will fit. Did you use their search feature to find wheels for the OP's specific Jeep?

There is the problem, there are no alloy rims that are 16 x 7 for the most part other than the stock ones...there are a couple steel rims this size. This is why most end up with 16 x 8 if they have decent looking after market rims. I have been in the same boat for a while and I have a lift. Might end up trying to plastidip the stock rims. I already plastidipped most the chrome emblems on my KK with no issues, just been scared or lazy to try something big like wheels...

So basically dont bother unless you put a lift on it, then you can get the 16 x 8 rims and some bigger tires.

If 16x7" rims, with 5" back-space are so limited, wouldn't the selection be greater if you include 17 and even 18" wheels? I realize an 18" rim would require a lower profile tire, which would make the ride harsher, but that's just a consideration the buyer should be aware of.

I'm not in the industry, so I don't know all the possibilities - nor the consequences. So, I rely on those that do to provide the details I need to make an informed decision.

Jim
