You guys may recall a while ago, I mentioned a place called Standard Auto Wreckers, home of the all you can carry for 49.99.. Recently they caught on to what I was doing, who I was, etc.

I explained that to a Jeeper, the wreckers was like a best friend. That they literally kept me wheeling. For 50 bucks, getting 4 cv's a front diff, an alternator and a water pump is a great deal.

They were really impressed to hear that their operation was helping me and other people continue to wrench, play and stay dirty. They have also been working quite hard to find me the "hard to find parts"

So I gotta say, if your ever in the Scarborough/Markham or New York area on a Saturday, bring your tools!!!!

Two cv's were in the diff, diff overt shoulder.

The rest went in a skid plate, on my hip.

Give most Rangers a run for their money lol.

So what your saying is if I need to visit this place to give you a call That will be a quick trip for me. My skinny out of shape self would be lucky to carry an alternator and a shock absorber in one go

This is a good tip though, thanks. I'm from the central Jersey area and its good to have an option if I need some pricier parts. Could be worth the trip, depending on how far it is from me. The salvage yard by me has good prices depending on what your looking for but a lot of parts, the prices they charge its more worthwhile to spend the extra few bucks for new.
