- That access panel left of the steering column is not covering a fuse box... it's a small storage compartment.

- You CAN reset the oil change dummy light: With the engine off, turn ignition switch to "on", depress the accelerator to the floor three times within 10 seconds, then turn the ignition back to "lock".

- The access panel in the rear floor can be reversed so the plastic tray is up.

- When the rear seats are flipped down, continue pushing them towards the floor and they will "lock" flat (same for front passenger?).

- The plastic tray under the arm rest can be removed. Yeah, this may be obvious.

Question: One of the plastic springs under the rear access panel loop no longer retracts the loop to secure the panel. Anyone have experience in fixing this?

LOL... you had to be the one who removed that cargo area to save weight and achieve more room?
I don't need to buy the whole assembly, yet. lol

Can ANYONE tell me how to remove/fix this cargo cover hold-down spring issue?

Also, she's telling me the driver lock/unlock buttons randomly reverse roles. Anyone seen this?

Not finding anything on my cargo spring issue by searching the LOST search function, I resorted to Google which directed me to this link on LOST...

...but there are no images (even when viewed in Firefox). Sigh...

Task completed... but not the right way. You'd have to remove the entire cargo tub to not have to replace the spring assy with a new one (read below).

I had to break the top side of the assembly to get to the steel "keepers" that needed depressed to remove the assy from the hole. I was able to get the spring back in place but if the loop is turned 90 deg it will fall through.
Fortunately, the clock position the loop needs to be in to remove the lid is also the position needed to keep the assy from falling through the hole. I could buy a new assy and insert it back in place but we'll weigh the cost first.
You can't see the broken assy top when the lid's in place anyway.

Remove the switch panel and inspect contacts. Seems like you may have a short in the switch cluster... may want to address that asap...
