Yesterday the filling station was out of Diesel. On top of having troubles with my fuel gauge going bonkers after filling without first shutting the engine off, for the last two fill ups.
I left it on top of the pump. I have dropped it twice before and it and it rolled under the Jeep.

PO replaced it with a black lockable one. I would prefer to replace it with a Green lockable with a tether
strap that says DIESEL FUEL ONLY. I am not able to find anything at any auto parts store around here. Where to go online?
Thanks

I leave mine running quite often when I fill up. I haven't experienced any trouble with the fuel gauge. It does take a good while for it to register because it has a built in delay, but that will go away as soon as you cycle the key.

genosgarage.com has green fuel caps and also locking style. They are for Ram trucks but are the same size.

OEM is a little steep and not green. I ordered the Stant GREEN Fuel Caps: 10508D Locking from auto parts store without the tether. The lock is a lot cheaper than the OEM but it worked on the last one i had. and it too I believe was a Stant
Thank you

I have had a Stant Green locking cap for several years. I ordered it from a local auto parts store. It wasn't in stock but they were able to look up the item and get it next day for under $20 as I remember. It does not have a tether like the non locking OEM cap did. I keep the key one the ring with my Jeep and house Keys. I just leave the keys attached to the cap while I fuel up this way I have to pick it up when done filling in order to drive away again. I have not yet lost the cap or keys

The reason for the Green cap w/Lock is to keep my wife from fueling up when she uses it. Every time we go for a drive, She asks you got enough GAS?
I have been finding my self adjusting the seat and mirrors a lot lately.
