Hi Guys,

I have a number 3 glow plug fault.. I have had a look on here and the net and realise there are two types...

How do I find out which ones are already installed..?

Is it best to change all x4..?

If I do change them for the different voltage ones is it only a main agent who can set the ecu..?

Thanks..

db.

The stock gp's are 7v ceramic, DC offered a 5V metallic alternative that required reflash of the ECU and a new GP relay module. The ceramic GP's can and have disintegrated causing sever engine damage.

Most of us have been changing the 7v ceramic with 7v etcno metallic GP's. no reflash or gp relay module changes required.

The etcno GP's are available for IDParts. You should change them all out if your switching.

You might have to remove the intake elbow and alternator to get to them easily.
Spray them with PB blaster and take it easy removing them. Dont want to break one in the way out.
