3 out of 5 right now
The silver renegade needs a valve job
Brand new set of 245-75-16 Duratracs, full OME lift has maybe 20,000 miles on it, interior needs a good cleaning but no rust at all
Would like to get 2000 out of it ( with the new tires (650 bucks ) and lift ( 800 bucks) and all if they come off could be had much cheaper )
Hey by the way where did you say was a good place for lawn tractor parts?
Craftsman model 917271030, rear end

Ok cool. My daughter just got her temps so won't be needing a vehicle until summer probably, but starting to look around. She would be fine with a Liberty....."as long as I can fit my flags in it for color gaurd"
I've eBen considered giving her the wife's Libby and buying the wife something newer, but I hate a car payment so I dunno.

Going to pick up a 2000 XJ for the son tonight, he's tired of the Bronco, I'm tired of the constant repairs. This is clean pretty much rust free, has a 4" lift or so and running 265/75 Cooper STT. It will need a little work but it's a decent deal.

Only place I know even near you is Bob's Lawn and Garden, he's maybe 40 miles north east of columbus.
Do a Craigslist search for lawn mower or Craftsman, I bet there are guys up there that have small junkyards parting them out, we have 2 or 3 down here if ya have to come my way, I can check them out for you.

Good afternoon Tom!!!

It is a cloudy overcast day here in far eastern PA (another 1/10 of a mile and I'd be in NJ). 50 degrees here in mid January. :dizzy:

Am going to be needing to change the TC side cv on the front drive shaft soon. I have the parts now and have read the how to thread and now just need to get out there and do it. Any additional tips?

Hi Tom, I figured you would be monitoring this section. We're having quite a blizzard here in eastern PA this weekend. How about over in central Ohio? Hunkering down and not planning on venturing out until Sunday with my shovel.

I watched some YouTube videos about changing out the Liberty's front driveshaft, all from KJ's and it looks super simple to do. Went outside ready to do it myself and found there is an oxygen sensor the length of my thumb sticking out directly in the path of where the driveshaft needs to go to get it out. From what I read, this is a KK thing. To get the driveshaft out, this sensor has to come out first. How difficult is it to remove an O2 sensor without breaking it? Looks like it could be rusted in place and is going to fight me all the way. Do you have any suggestions?

NO SNOW in Central Ohio, parents down towards Marietta ( Ohio ) have about 7 inches though
KJs are pretty simple to remove driveshaft ( front)
You should be able to remove the sensor with no issues and reinstall.
I'd spray it well for a day or so then give it a try. Pain in the but I know
Stay safe over there , Marlin was telling me how much you were suppose to get when he called yesterday

Just finished digging out, and went for a 1 mile trek down the Delaware Canal trail on snowshoes! Across the river in Trenton the official count was 22 inches. Lots of fun to be had around here, since the snow happened on a weekend! Am looking forward to breaking out the cross country skis next.

Thanks for the reassurance about the oxygen sensor. I don't want to break it and have the Jeep be undriveable. With all the electronics in these things, and since it is my only daily driver, I am a bit wary of things like that.

Tom, I'm sad to admit, in the last 5 months I have put less than 100 miles on my KJ. I should be ashamed!

No, not nice, but required. I miss the Jeep. It just sits in the garage with new parts on the shelves and tools gathering rust. Lol. I need to get out there and do SOMETHING to her.

Uhhhhhmmmm Tom, I have a perfect condition (body, frame and engine) LT2000 917288033 with the 42" deck, 17.5 Briggs, brand new battery and runs like a champ but the deck needs rebuilt, belts along with the tires that loose air. If it'll work and interest's you, let me know…...

Plus its on the side of a steep hill to boot
How did you end up with a rider? Oh never mind , you're like me these find their way into your garage one way or the other :ROTFL:
