Hey everyone! So I'm looking into trimming my fenders. I have a stock suspension right now and getting the JBA 4in lift gold package in a few months. I recently put some 2in wheel spacers on and it looks badass! Only issue is I went trail riding where I always do and started rubbing on the sh*$#y plastic fenders and darn left one on the trail. Just wondering if anyone looked into trimming their fenders or have some pictures on what it looks like underneath. I am more than willing to start hacking away at it so long as anyone has some relative info.
So any ideas????

Rubbing due to the spacers, don't need them at all especially when not lifted, remove and do the lift and only then after you install the lift, regear and see what size tires you may want to go with. Then you may cut/ hack etc. BUT if lift and tire size is wisely chosen no need to hack/ trim and mess it up.

darn, I love the look of having the wheels spaced out a bit. I know tommudd is super active on the forum, seen a lot of your posts :D Yeah Im definetly getting a lift and will probably have to remove my spacers. More than anything I want to trim them fenders to completely change the look of everything. I;m sure weve all seen that picture of the KK from 4 wheeler magazine or whatever with the axel swaps and super trimmed up front end. Don't wanna go that crazy just maybe chop it along that line on the fenders. Guess its just a little unrealistic.

Problem is with trimming is its ugly as heck in behind with out the inner liners
Then flares are not attached as tightly so will be loose

If you cut/ trim/ hack the flares up you'll have to remove the inner liner, then this is what you have to look at
On a KJ but KKs the same

So that's why my suggestion to wait until you lift and you'll not have to start cutting up things that don't need cut
