We know that the MOOGS fail in as little as 60K miles.

Timkens are traditionally the best, but I heard some may be coming from China, now.

How about SKFs? Can get them for about $180 per side.

Thanks for your advice as always!

I run SKF's in my KJ,made in Japan or Germany so high quality(can not say where the actual KJ hub bearings are made though from SKF).

Every bearing on these vehicles from the factory is a Timken.

SKF or Napa's high-end bearing (made by SKF) are all I would ever put on.

Someone decided to put a China bearing on a 2wd 1500 work truck at the dealer I used to work at to save a few bucks and it lasted a grand total of 14,000 miles.

I just purchased a set of Timkens. Presuming I'm still on factory front wheel bearings at just past 90k (31s since 60k) they seem to hold up. Not a huge fan of mud so that probably extended the life a bit. Doing the install Monday .

We just replaced both front hubs with Timkens. The bearings were marked F-A-G. (Correct spelling without hyphens is NOT ALLOWED by the website.)

This is supposed to indicate they were made in Germany, but I certainly do not know for sure.

I expect if mine ever need replaced it'll get O'Reilly house brand with lifetime warranty. Owning a retail repair shop, 30minutes every 2-3 years to replace em ain't no big deal.

Just replaced both original stock wheel hub assy for my wife's 2006 4x4 Jeep Liberty renegade
233kmiles....- rocky auto.. $160 each SKF 100k+ mile rated.
also installed new cv axles, upper/lower control arms, ball joints & bilstiens on all 4. Rocky Mountain. Auto zone new black oxide rotors and ceramic brake pads on all 4.
Only bad thing passenger front side has knocking sound when only applying breaks to stop.
Gonna put old rotor back on to see if it removes the issuse

SKF is the only way to go....

How about the Centric Premium Hub Assemblies?

Are those any good? I've read great things about their premium brake rotors so I've gotten a set of those to put on.
