Does anyone know why the 6spd is limited to 3500#? I'd like to be able to tow another Libby, but that's a few hundred over...

I believe its actually 3500lbs. If you flat tow the libby it should be ok. But when you put it on a trailer(trailer being around 1.5k-2k) it would be to much weight.

The 5-spd manual was set at 3500 lbs as well. It's to protect the clutch.

It's to protect DC from somebody frying their transmission towing something :-P

Why not use the other liberty to tow yours?
