Best & Worst replacement calipers ?

Spent an hour looking for relevant threads, found nothing either comprehensive or definitive regarding calipers to favor or avoid.
If such a thread exists, would someone please be kind enough to share the link?

L/R fronts on the shelf at Ensenada Azone for $35/per (at current exchange rate). However, I know with Soobs anything but OEM or Napa had a reputation for presenting wobble in very short order; had that experience within 100 miles of installing a set of Azones on a client's Gen-I Outback so I'm weary of slapping theirs on my personal CRD.

Sharing of experience-based knowledge sourcing CRD calipers much appreciated.

Update; absent any negative reports, bought Azones. Visually, they appear to be remanned OEM (that is, if the formers were the originals). Time will tell.

My calipers are starting to get a little seize-y in the morning- would love to hear suggestions as well-

I had a cheap Napa set. I don't recommend them. I don't think they fit exactly right and would get stuck in the metal sliders. They were dusty/dirty. I now have id parts brand pads up front and all is well. No noise, dust, or sticking

There's nothing specific about the calipers in the CRD is there? Wouldn't any Jeep liberty calipers fit for the same year?

For the past several years I have been using Wagner calipers, pads (Thermoquiet) and rotors on all my vehicles with good results.

That's an excellent question.
Mexican azone informed that the upper control-arm ball joint is the same spec as a 1996 GMC/Chevy 1500 Van; makes you wonder...
Expand the research to include hub, caliper-bracket and rotor along with caliper? Seems improbable, but who knows.

Just to clarify, that's for the JBA upper control arms you mentioned in another thread, right? Was wondering because I'm not seeing separate front upper ball joints listed for KJs' factory-style control arms on Rock Auto, just the upper control arms with the ball joint already installed.

Yeah. Sorry for not clarifying that was for the JBA uca's. I suppose that negates any hope that any brake/running gear off a '96 GM 1500 van may swap elsewhere to Chrysler products. I wonder if they pay folks to insure that their parts aren't accidentally interchangeable...
