@rjmaype what year is your CRD?
HER_CRD has got some good advice for you with the picture that he posted.....you will need to download the complete wiring diagrams for your year CRD by downloading the relevant year Service manual here:
http://www.colorado4wheel.com/manuals/Jeep/KJYou then will need to isolate the various branches of the wiring coming off the fuse 25 to see what is blowing the fuse....you will see Splice S318 goes off to another page which means that on that page you will have to isolate more components and there may be more splices again taking you to other pages.
I will have a closer look at the circuitry once you have informed me as to your year CRD....2005 has some wiring differences to the 2006!
To fix this problem yourself you will need a cheap digital Multi meter and the relevant wiring diagrams in your possession...I can then advise you on what to check. A mechanic is not much use in a wiring issue like this...you need to take your wiring diagrams to an Auto Electrician to find an electrical issue!
Another reason I asked for the year of your CRD is that the 2006 LHD CRD has a known problem with the wiring harness going behind the Fuel Filter Mounting Bracket where it can be forced down against the chassis which cause random shorting of wires to chassis there.
So if you have a 2006 CRD...remove that bracket and have a good look at the wiring there for damage.
When I was in Computer Mainframe support I used to carry a few DC trip switches of various Amp ratings to wire into fuse holders so that I could reset to breaker...say one rated at 10 A....while diagnosing the problem instead of chewing up fuses. Maybe Radio Shack or some place similar in the USA has small DC circuit breakers for you!
