Hey all, going to get a new laptop soon, and other than the flashScan3, what else should I 'save' for the new laptop? Maybe I don't have to save it, but just download another one from GDE to the new laptop? I vaguely remember making the .ori file to send to GDE, and he sent it back as a .mod file. So, to refresh my quickly failing memory, the ONLY .mod file I have is the one installed in the Liberty, and the .ori is in the tool.. There shouldn't be a copy of either in my laptop.. correct? Anyone remember how it may have been addressed? All I can remember is the .ori or the .mod at the end.
Next; lets say I do pull a rabbit out of my hat and get my rebuilt engine installed, (fundage is short, and need allow for some more parts; torque convertor) and want to 'bump it up' from the eco-tune/full torque it currently has. Does the ori tune have to be re installed to write over with a Yeti type, or can GDE's be written over? It may be beneficial to have a pure copy of the original, and the GDE somewhere 'just in case'...
Last question; I see Yeti's are in stages; can someone give a quick overview on what each level does? Not looking to break glass ceilings, maybe something up-to what the 'hot tune' was.
