Is there any reason not to remove and recycle the kick panels in the footwells? They seem to only reduce the space of an already cramped area on both sides. Am I missing something? I’d post a pic for clarity, but I can’t.

They are there mostly to protect all the wiring harness from catching on your feet/shoes so I wouldn't. A foot catching/pushing on a wire bundle may cause a break in the wire or one of the many ground wires for the BCM to break loose and then you'll be chasing your tail for days trying to solve a problem.

just my :2cents:

Not really any wires on the passenger side, few on driver but they tucked up high.
Mostly that side is super tight already so removing gives a little more space. I’ll try without and see if any ill effects
