After looking at them for over a year, I did the deed and got my CRD. It is a 2005 Inferno Red Sport with the sunroof and Tow package. I managed to get it for $18,900 w/ 10,000 miles. (hope you guys think this is a good deal... seemed to be for me) I can't wait to get familiarized with it! So far, my only complaint is that the ride is a bit stiff compared to what I am used to (Expedition). I'm going to check the air pressure tomorrow, but it was dark by the time I stopped driving tonight.

I'm hoping to convince the wifey to let me head over to the GTG at OldNavy's place. Anyone feel like trying to add a EVIC that weekend???

I think you did good. The Expedition has a lot longer wheel baase and that makes a huge difference.

Yeah... I knew it would make a lot of difference. I guess if our roads weren't so bad, I wouldn't notice.

Funny thing about comparing the Expedition to the Liberty... Expedition was twice the size, had 8 cylinders, and still was only rated at 4000 lbs towing compared to the 5000 on the CRD.

Finally...your 2005 is probably the one you would have bought a year ago if you hadn't waited so long. Just think of it as broken in for you by someone who wanted to take the intial depreciation hit for ya".

Sounds like you made a good deal 8)
