Theres a few spots out in the ANF.

But Anyone have any more thoughts on my sqeaking car? its like from 15-60 mph you can hear it sqeaking more as you go faster and it and less when slower also when you break hard it stops.

I sprayed grease on the 2 bushings on the front of the swaybar also on the spacers themselves.

Any other ideas? Do I need to take it back to the shop? Is this gonna stop after a week?

Sorry just being parinoid plus its really annoying since I normally drive windows down.

Well if it squeaks when driving smooth and level then I'm not sure.

The squeaking from the spacer is most noticeable at slower speeds (less background noise to hear over). The squeaking results from the springs rubbing against the polyurethane spacer at the bottom of the strut assembly. It will squeak every time the suspension is cycled. That is why it will squeak when braking, because the front end dives a little during braking.

Just go slow over a speed bump and see if it still squeaks. If it does, it is most likely the poly bushings. Try some silicon spray instead this time because it flows better. Get it inside the strut assembly, in-between the spring and the poly spacer. Polyurethane has a tendency to be quite noisy. The first thing I noticed when installing my Frankenlift was the squeaking. A little silicon on spacers in-between the springs fixed the problem. It could be the sway bar bushing, but my first guess would be the poly spacers.

If it is more speed depended and doesn't do it at slow speeds, when braking or going over speed bumps then it is not the sway bar or spacers.

Sounds like it could even be brakes...the pads always ride your discs and the metallic content of the pads can cause that...when you apply the brakes it goes away...let off and drive it comes back. Maybe time to check the pads. Sometimes you can take a fine grit sandpaper to them and your discs and get rid of it.

UPDATE took it to the shop and the brakes are caked with "concrete like mud" which is the best description for it. So they did some cleaning that helped cut down on most all of the noise. I am taking it back there next week and hes gonna clean it out better all for free. He also told me that its not gonna be a safety issue which is good news.

Also gave me a great deal on a 60inch high lift jack only 50 bucks!

Lookin good Noscapegoat

Here's what Cooper Discoverer S/T 265/70R16 look like.
They do well in mud too :D

My 235/70-16 Discoverer ST's suck in mud:)

I seriously hate these tires with a passion...they don't do well at anything (IMO). they don't even hook all that well on the street...
I know my KJ isn't lifted and my tires are smaller, but my old Dueler AT's on my Trooper were WAY better in mud and sand AND on the street than my Discoverer ST's are.

Granted...there's almost 1,000 lbs of difference in the weights between the Trooper and the KJ, and I also drove the Trooper WAY harder.

Not flaming or trash talking your tires...I just thought it was odd that I found somebody that actually LIKED these tires.

Either way, when my KJ finally goes up...it's getting a set of Dueler AT's:p

BTW-your rig looks bad-ass, NoScapegoat:D
