Works for me, usually Sunday afternoons are best. I will be out of town most of July though. Set a date and lets see what happens.

I think everyone should put there availabilty day and we can go from there. Im sure we all understand its summer vacation so, if we have to wait that is fine with me, I would really just like to get some interest at some point.

if you are really interested if you could PM with your E-mail (s) so I can shoot some ideas by you and as well as you shoot some back my way as far a good places to wheel, get togethers, meeting spots etc..

Hey guys just went out with another group http://nevadabackroaders.com/index.html WE did a night run on the bitter springs byway. And man it was a blast I did not get flamed :shock:

by anyone there. just the usual give the newbe a hard time. We had 13 rigs in the run over half where TJ's. We started at pm 7:00 and i got home at 1:15am giv them a look. pm me with any Q's

Hey since we all want to meet and greet but can not figure on a date i am going to pick a day, Sunday Aug. 13, 2006. Time and location TBD. Any suggestions on a location and time?

Sounds good, although the 13th is "iffy" for me right now. I will have to see if I can change my schedule. But Im glad this is moving forward.

Well I can only assume that nothing happened over the weekend. And this thread and or people seem to have lost the drive. Im still interested in getting a meeting spot together. but we will need more than just 2 people to show up. I understand everyone has scheduling conflicts. but if we want to do this we gotta find a time and start the process. And we need numbers.... So lets again see who is still interested..

I would still like to take this to the next level. Since we can't get together just yet. How about a little side information. I drive a 1998 TJ 4 banger. The wife drives a 2004 Liberty. Since this is about Liberty Owners spending time with other Liberty owners. Lets compare Libby's. I have the V6 automatic. A 3" lift, rear locker and a limited slip in the front. I have a set of sliders from All J products that I still need to install. 32" BFG AT's that rub just alittle. and a set of ALs upper control arms. The lower ball joints have been replaced with the Moog greasable ones. The Liberty has been taken over Wheeler pass, Parts of the Mojave road, and plenty of backroader runs. The wife has thrown me out of the Liberty three times for calling it a KIA. :wink:

We have almost 40,000 mile on this vehicle with zero mechanical problems except the upper and lower ball joints. I have a thump coming from the back I have yet to find. I thought it was the rear balljoint till I tested it. I want to modify the rear three link to loosen the back of the jeep alittle. I would like to suggest an alternative to meeting at a park or pizza parlor. How about a short trail ride. Maybe out to the apache tear location and collect some rocks. We could explore Potosi alittle maybe stop at the goodsprings saloon (I am not sure of the name) The wife says we could go play at Rainbow Gardens. This maybe a way to kick this off.
