Congratulations, I fondly remember the excitement. Here's a tip for ya', get yourself a ratcheting tie down strap......it greatly eases the clevis reinstall.
Ahh, yes, i almost forgot, are there any more tips i should use before, during or after the install... and do i need to go get my steering aligned after?
YES! You must get an alignment after putting a lift on. The only thing is, its best to wait awhile after putting it on b/c it will settle some. If you get it aligned the day after, it will settle and be off again. Ive heard of people turning the tie-rod 2 turns I think it is, so the tires do no wear so fast until you get it aligned. You can also measure between the front two tires before you start and go by that to adjust after the lift. Good luck!!
