I haven't been able to really take mine off road. But I think I'm going to risk it all and try to go down the "control road" on Mt. Lemmon in tucson AZ. It looks like it might just be an easy gravel road- anyone ever been on it? It is also called the "Old Mt. Lemmon Highway". I'll be in the middle of a big road trip so I hope I don't rip anything important off (oil filter).

You should be able to do it easy in your Liberty. Just watch out for the rains while you are up there, and some road wash outs. The control road is not bad at all.

Have Fun.

HotChiliRam,

Trying not to hijack this thread but in this picture, it looks like your front axle assembly is rusted. Do you have an aluminum D30 in the front of your CRD?

I don't know really, but I will try to check (clean it and see if it's aluminum or steel). I will post my finding..... :D
