After some pokeing and proding, I figured I should step in here and say Hi.

I am from the western slope of Colorado, but am in the Air Force so I move around. I was stationed in Colorado Springs a long time ago, and just recently got stationed back here. I have a good bit of off road experience, but with larger vehicles and ATV's. I just recently bought my 07 Libby, and am loveing it. I have a huge list of mods in store for my Libby, but will have to slow up for the finances.

Read this thread for more on the purchase of my Liberty,

I have been thinking of joining you guys on some runs, but will see. I am still getting unpacked and all.

well welcome! i am in the air force myself and you must be on the lucky side because im told that i wont be moving for a long long long long time. i read you initial post here on the forum and realized youre just like me in that i also wanted a wrangler but was a little upside down on my trade and they werent giving anything up price wise for the wrangler. so my dealer suggested a libberty and i said "eww no! i dont have kids; looks like something the brady bunch would drive!!" and i fell in love with him, and even after 2 months almost, i still think its one of the greatest things on 4 wheels! im also having tranny woes right now and it looks as if i might need a new torque converter, but go chrysler jeep wants to try one more software upgrade. in the mean time i have a intermitten electronic throttle failure lamp, looks like this )Z(, that comes on and goes off.
my name is darry and i look forward to meeting you

I am sure I will meet up with many of you on some runs. It dosn't take much of an excuse for me to get outta town. I keep looking around this web site and and seeing what others have done to their KJ's and I really want to start doing things to mine.

Does any one know how I can make about $5000 real fast? I considered selling blood and semen...but sometyhing tells me it wont be that fast...

We had planned a camping trip for this weekend, but I think we are getting rained out. So I might go play in the mud instead.

Welcome to the rockies section.
We have a trip set for the 11th that would show you what a modded KJ can do. Should be someone with an empty seat, I will have one.

Forget the selling of blood and seamen no matter how many oyster dinners you eat your arm will hurt and your hand will cramp up long before you can make $100. Not even with the help of all the charictures from an Anne Rice novel will you get enough blood. And What ever you do, Don't try to Sell Your wifes brain to science! You wont get that much money and it will REALLY PI$$ her off for several weeks. (Not a pretty picture!) Good Luck on you search for $$$$$$$$$.
