I'm in the process of putting the Stanadyne filter in today.
When I drained down the New Holland 5 micron filter that's on the stock filter head, there was so much crap in the bottom of the filter that I had to completely remove the plug before it would drain.
About 10K miles total on that filter, and 6K since I drained it last, just before the last trip to TX.
About 2 ounces of water and so much debris it looked like someone had crumbled up some dried leaves and mixed them in with the fuel.
I get the chance, I'll take some pics and forward them to whoever wants to post them.
If I have to choose between having a decent filter, or keeping the dealer happy over the warranty, the dealer can go take a flying leap.
