The spacers and extended lug nuts are going to take more modifications than I thought. The holes in the wheels are barely too small for the shafts of the extended lug nuts. The shafts of the lug nuts also extend through the wheel a little bit. The lugs are also very short already. I didn't want to have everything drilled out a little in case it didn't turn out well.

I've bought a set of Moabs, and would appreciate feedback on what tire combos are working well with them. It will be with a Frankenlift Premium II, Al's uppper arms, and an extra set of isolators in the rear. I want to go with an AT that does really well in the snow for my ski trips. It also needs to not be too loud on the streets, or too rough. The worst it sees are hilly gravel roads, and a little mud mixed in. It's a daily driver and not a trail rig. I've got Destination AT's right now, and have been very happy with them. I would like to go to something slightly more agressive though. I'm thinking something like the Wrangler Silent Armor in a 265/70R16 might fit the bill. Opinions and advice would be greatly appreciated. I've wanted a lifted Jeep since I was in elementary school and playing with a Stomper Jeep Wrangler Renegade in mini truck pulls. Now I'm in my mid 30's, and just getting my first lifted Jeep.

I've had good experiences with Bridgestone REVO's and have seen them perform well in Moab. Just an option for you.

How much lift are you running? Any rubbing issues or major cutting that had to be done?

no fender liners in front, pinch weld has beed adjusted.
i have 2.5" lift with 4 clevis washers on each side in front and 3 spring pads on each side in back.

no rubbing issues at all. i havent tried to wheel with them, but i think i would get rubbing in each rear fender well in front if i stuffed those tires.

they're huge.

i run 31.10.50's on 15" soft 8's when offroading and those have no rubbing issues at all in any situation.

Where did you get the moabs Ky?

Ive got 245/70/16 on my rims(same size and BS as moabs). They just nick the fog light area but clear the pinch seams quiet a bit. Extended bumpstops were needed to keep the rear tires off the fenders when fully flexed.

I sit right around an inch lower than the franken lift with my Rustys lift though.

Got them off Ebay. Are only supposed to have 200 miles on them and in new condition. Haven't received them yet though. I really think that I want to get some Wrangler Silent Armors in a 265/70R16 on them with the Frankenlift and an extra set of isolators in the rear. I plan to heat gun the fog lamp area, and flatten the pinch weld if necessary. I'd prefer not to do anything other than some minor triming of the fender liners. Hopefully I can get them to fit. But if they don't fit, at least the owner of the tire store will let me try on different sizes.
