It's all good....we got the KJ home last night and all is well. The parents haven't killed me...but they're not happy about loaning the money to fix it. I happened to crack my front diff (for those that didn't know), but a
HUGE HUGE THANKS to Bugnout (Scott)
FOR EVERYTHING he did for me last night. Scott is one of the nicest people I have ever met; he drove me and my friend to the local U-Haul (20 mins. from the park), helped me get a 2 wheel pull behind dolly for my Jeep and volunteered to help pull my Jeep home where I met my dad and he pulled it home the remainder of the way. I just didn't want to try and make it home, it was driving okay to the parking lot, but for everyone who has snapped their diffs, it's not worth risking. We all need to assume the dangers in wheeling our Jeeps and the risk's involved with breaking things. DON'T try limping it home...if everyone remembers the catastrophy that happened about 3 months ago with the Terra Jeep Club member. Just a HUGE thanks to all the Midwest guys for all their help and offers.
For all those that didn't attend...you missed a great day of wheeling! It was nice meeting everyone I haven't met yet, including you MP Jeeper, and all those I had previously met. Callaway (Rob) did an awesome job of organizing the event and getting all the food and shirts. Everyone did great,
I'll be back in the game soon guys.....for now, it's off to shopping for a new Dana 30A!!
