Great turnout Tom, you missed out on a good run.
I'm guessing 20+ rigs showed at the reststop not including the Hall Of Fame group that we never even crossed paths with that hit the trail earlier.
We split into 3 groups at the trailhead, Terry took a group, Jason took a group, and I took the LOST group. The trails were on the slick side but mostly manageable except for the steeper grades. Everyone experienced the Wellsville grease right off the get go. We spent close to an hour just getting up the second grade on the way in. I almost opted to turn the group around and take a bypass to the playground, but the LOST guys held there own, sliping and sliding in and out of ruts on the way up, myself included. And mind you, this was one of the easy trails!
I hope everyone is a little wiser from there experience today, as it will aid you all in your next bout with Wellsville.
I'll let the rest of the guys tell there versions of the run and keep you in suspence for awhile longer.
Someone in Terry's group having a bad hair day.
Hall Of Fame pic from today.
Does this spot look familar guys, we ate lunch there.
Yeah, and Mitch was so dying to do this obstacle too, I think he would have faired much better than this Bronco did.
Sturgis can be very unforgiving at times
Jason, leading his group and giving them an example of what not to do

....... Or, Jason breaking in his new Jeep on it's maiden run

......

This was part of the hold up on the second grade.
jerbacher was getting bored, so he decided to blow his front housing for some excitement.
