The job of moderator is really three fold: First to keep us kids in line, to be a technical resource when you can, and finally to keep things organized. I think this forum is well behaved, and we have lots of great technical experts out there including gmctd, Retmil, Darby and Sir Sam and others. The only reason we really need more moderation is to keep things organized.
Not that I want the job, I'm pretty busy as is, but I'll offer my services as a moderator with the understanding that I am not the technical resource OldNavy, gmctd, Sir Sam or the others are. All I can offer is the ability to keep things organized. I have experience administrating phpBB forums. I just recently started two private phpbb forum's, One for my Air Force buddies and one for my high school class reunion (#30 if you really want to know

). So I check those two forums daily for new membership and of course posting. I'm usually on this board daily, and am easy to get hold of. You can search my posting history to confirm I'm not a trouble maker.
This is my first Diesel, I love it. I do most of my own routine maintenance and mods. My CRD has only been to the dealer twice, once for F37 and once for the TC. I'm a radio systems engineer by trade, came up through the ranks of bench tech and testing and then back to school for a degree. I like doing my own work and glad to help others if I know anything useful.
Your not going to hurt my feelings if you decide on others, I'm just throwing it out there if your looking for a steady hand as a second or third moderator.
