I sleep better, having seen the actual condition of the fluid and filter, knowwhuttimean?
If you cannot smell that burned clutch odor in the fluid, p'rhaps a trip to yer local EENT may be in order, eh?
Reg'lar atf is dyed red for leak detection - hydraulic oil is brownish-clear - power steering fluid is one instance...............
I agree about the filter, but my fluid gets changed every 15,000 miles(flush) and filters every 30,000(with flush).Oh and yes my sense of smell is almost shot, painting vehicles and that year in Iraq kinda burned it out(10% from the VA).My motto is change it before it can go bad,it's cheaper that way.
